Lara was still adjusting to her new life. She’d gone from risking her life and discovering artifacts to restoring and cataloging them. It was a change, but one she knew she needed to make.
She was secluded in her office in the heart of the museum, going over the details of an upcoming exhibit. From her laptop, the gentle sound of Vivaldi filled the room.
She was so consumed in her work that she didn’t hear the knock at her door at first.
"Hm? Come in!"
The Captain made his way into the room after he’d been invited. Poking his head inside the office, the blonde quickly introduced himself.
"Ma'am, my name is Captain Steve Rogers. I’ve got an appointment.”
He knew this was Lara Croft, he’d come to see her specifically for information on an artifact that may not have even been on Earth at the moment, but he had the feeling, if anyone had information, it’d be a former treasure hunter.
