some actual competition.”
She smiled again, glancing down the trail

"So what is it you said you’re doing in
our little town?”
"I just, needed to get out of D.C., get some
fresh air, clear my head.”
Steve looked back on it. The fact that she didn’t
know who he was made it sound vague about his
reasons.
